The black and gold
The breaking of the mold

Was witnessed by endless
Attendants

Not a second went by without praise
For the one who had chose for them to be there that day

Lives were shared
Stories were told
By people from all areas, young and old

We cried tears saying, “Subhanallah.”
We gasped surprised saying, “Mashallah.”

We learned about the past and it’s permanent impact

We learned about the present and were shown evidence

On how the future needs our help.
And that we should never have pride in things like beauty and wealth.

We met with “Peace” and we left at peace.
And I pray that Jannah is the last place we’ll all again meet.
