It’s time to WAKE UP and:
Stop letting culture define you
Enbrace diversity an let color blind you
Bilal (ra) wasn’t white lest I need to remind you
Your love for Allah should be the ties that bind you

Created in nations and tribes so that we can get to know each other
So why is it that you choose to deny the rights you have upon your sister and brother?
Is that the type of respect that you would give to your mother(Hawwa)?
It’s time to loose our pride and learn to love one another

Since when were you better due to the lightness of your skin?
Thinking that way easily accumulates sin
Superficial qualities don’t determine what’s within
And we all come from Adam(as) so therefore we’re all patrilineal kin

So if the Muslims would come correct…
Then maybe the Ummah could stand erect
There are those that run around and misdirect,
Following Shayateen, look how they disrespect
I suspect it’s cause they were brought up with such neglect

Regardless, we need to inspect, and re-check
Jihad of the nafs, it’s time to disinfect
These lies that are propagated before they take effect
Until all those corrupted are no longer a suspect
